Adorable Rescue Puppy Brings So Much Joy To Her Forever Family

Adorable Rescue Puppy Brings So Much Joy To Her Forever Family

Bill Appling November 13, 2020

There are so many adorable puppies living in rescue shelters that need forever homes. Most of the puppies living in rescue shelters were rescued as strays or were surrendered by people who could not care for them. Thankfully, because of how adorable they look and how playful the puppies are, it’s not hard for people to fall in love with them and adopt them.

A rescue puppy named Abby was pulled from an animal shelter along with her siblings. An animal rescue organization called Fur Friends In Need was responsible for pulling Abby and her siblings from the animal shelter. The great thing about what Fur Friends In Need does is to make sure that all the dogs in their care are given a forever home. They also have an excellent foster program with significant numbers of volunteer foster families.

Abby and her siblings were brought to New York to find their forever homes. When Abby and her siblings arrived at the rescue, they all had parvo, which is a deadly virus, especially in puppies. Thankfully, Abby was a fighter and was able to fight off the virus and made a full recovery.

Abby is one happy dog. When she was healthy enough, she was fostered to get trained. After Abby was house trained and learned basic commands, Abby moved to a foster home where she learned what it’s like to live in a home environment. Abby proved to be very playful and friendly with other dogs. She’s also adorable, which meant that she wouldn’t have any problems getting adopted.

A couple named Katarina and Robert was following Abby’s story on the internet. When Katarina first saw Abby, she fell in love and knew that Abby would be the perfect addition to their family. Katarina and Robert eventually applied for Abby’s adoption, and a meet and greet was scheduled.

Katarina and Robert were a little nervous because they already have a dog named Slade. Katarina and Robert were hoping that Slade and Abby would get along so they can adopt Abby. Thankfully, Abby won Slade over, and they immediately became best friends. Slade couldn’t stop sniffing Abby, and while Abby was a little intimidated, she warmed up after a few minutes in the backyard with Slade.

After a few hours, Slade and Abby chased each other and jumped on the couch, playing. Abby completely warmed up with the entire family. Abby loves her new family, and Abby also brought a lot of joy to Katarina and Robert’s family. Here’s a heartwarming adoption video of Abby.
