Walking is one of the many activities that most dogs find enjoyable. When their human companions use the term “walk,” it is nearly usually synonymous with “enjoy” or “fun” for the doggos.
However, this is not the actual case for all dogs, as some dislike the concept of walking. Elise, a Golden Retriever, is familiar with this and is not amused by it.
According to Elise’s father, Mike Cook, the dog discovered that walking is actually a form of exercise. This is why the dog frequently displays a grin whenever Mike asks her to go for a stroll. But once she actually realizes that this is her father’s method for keeping her in shape, Elise starts to refuse the stroll.
Elise’s objection to walking can be quite loud. In a video that has become quite viral, the dog can be seen fighting Mike while he pulls on her leash. The dog was unwilling to leave the house for a stroll despite it being a beautiful afternoon.
Mike is no longer amused by the dog’s outbursts and would force Elise to take the necessary stroll. According to Mike, walking a dog is beneficial in more ways than one. First, walking would assist Elise in reducing her body fat. Additionally, this would assist the dog to enjoy some fresh air outside the home.
However, Elise appears oblivious to her objections to walking. The dog also had no choice at all but to comply with her owner’s wishes, otherwise, Mike would not give her any sweets or affection.
Mike said that he did not understand the dog’s behavior. He also said that all the dogs he knows enjoy going for walks because it is their method of relaxation and it allows them to explore the outdoors. This convinced Mike that there is something special about his dog.
