Sarge, a kind German Shepherd helped his fur mom, Cheryl, to rehabilitate local wildlife by giving animals comfort and safety if they find themselves in desperate situations. The gentle dog loved to join Cheryl in fostering animals, and when he was introduced to Buckwheat, a sweet orphaned fawn, they instantly became friends. He made sure that Buckwheat got the love and affection he deserved.
Since the fawn didn’t have the confidence to walk on his own, Sarge was there to guide him. According to Cheryl, Sarge loved walking alongside Buckwheat whenever she was taking the fawn outdoors. When Buckwheat finally grew, he ventured out on his own, and Cheryl would instruct Sarge to find him and bring him home. Eventually, he returned to the wild, but Sarge’s devotion to rescuing animals continued.
With his passion for saving wild animals, he became known as the local wildlife rescuer. The town was impressed by his dedication to helping Cheryl nurture wildlife, and because of his commitment, his mom would frequently receive phone calls from people who needed help in rescuing animals. Buckwheat wasn’t the only one who received Sarge’s love and care because the sweet dog continued to provide a home for orphaned animals. He would check them over to know their condition, and it made the fawns feel safe in his presence.
Cheryl was also happy that Sarge would immediately spring into action whenever he saw her carry a fawn. With Sarge’s charming and sweet nature, she decided to create an Instagram account that would showcase her dog’s kindness to his fellow animals. She also shared photos of Sarge cuddling calves and fawns, and followers enjoyed the heartwarming content.
There was no doubt that Sarge has already changed the lives of his furry friends. With his remarkable dedication to helping wildlife in need, more and more animals would be saved.
